It was fairly easy to assemble. I put the boxes together while watching TV. They don't tell you to make sure the boxes should be put together where the tabs meet the slots on the other box a certain pattern to connect to the next box in a way that the doors open up the same way. I wish I would have known because it's not easy taking the doors off the boxes. The plastic is very sturdy. I wish each box was taller so the high tops can stand up. I had to place the high tops in the box like they are placed in the box when you get a pair of new shoes. They are roomy enough length wise for a size 13 men's shoe. I personally found the item overpriced but compared to other sellers of the same item, the price was good.My low top sneakersLove how easy it was to set up and how sturdy the boxes are! Fits shoes perfectly and declutters!!!I purchased these to use as compact top linen closet storage. (There is wasted storage space up there.) It took a while to get the knack of assembling these plastic shoe boxes that have a hinged opening door feature. The boxes are relatively see through. They have small openings to breathe, so they are not air tight or waterproof. My objective was for dust proof storage. These were not a great assembly project for an impatient senior citizen. Enclosed assembly directions were not great. Each box unit end has a thin black plastic rectangle shaped rim. You fold a one piece flexible frosted plastic panel into a rectangular shape. Then you fold 4 small tabs on each of the two 4-sided ends. Once those steps are done you insert the each box’s sides into the 2 rectangle end frames and tuck them firmly into frames until you hear a clicking sound. Voila, then you have an assembled light weight stackable shoebox. The see through pull door panels do require a slight tug to open. So I suggest that if you plan on using your set as a stacked unit, by all means use the half-circle insertable tabs to join boxes together as stacking storage boxes. Otherwise, when opening one box by pulling its door, you’ll topple your stacked unit. Lesson learned. These are probably overpriced for what they are. However, I needed something light weight, accessible, breathable and stackable. Me ayudaron mucho a mejorar el manejo de espacio de mi closet así que por el precio me parece muy buena opción.Me gusto su diseño al abrirlas cuesta un poco pero nada complicado ya cuando le ayas abrir es más fácil de precio es accesibleAunque muy simples son muy practicas, no tengo mucho tiempo con ellas pero creo que son para almacenar zapatos de bajo uso.. no estoy seguro de su durabilidad en ek caso de usarlas diario.
