It was larger than I expected. I was able to add my 4 inch mattress topper and 4 pillows. Super happy about that.This bag was big and sturdy and well made and more than fit the full size mattress we bought it for.. it did exactly what we needed it to do.Thick tip-stop material so I’d say water resistant not water proof only because there’s no water protection with the zippers. It’s very large, 2nd photo shows the bag with a full mattress in it and there’s plenty of room. Has carrying handles for easier moving. Seems decent quality for a move but be careful storing long term because if the zipper issue.If you need to move or store a mattress, these bags are awesome! Not only do they protect the mattress, but they give you handles to hold when moving it. They're easy to get on (I've used a king size one as well) and so worth the money, in my opinion. I'm very pleased.This was amazing for moving! Durable and quality material that made moving a breeze!this seems to be very tough tarp with strong zipper the zipps zipper to zipper.It should be waterproof and dust proof for sure. there isn't a little "flap" area that the zippers can tuck into like on a camping tent... so I would say in a rainy move you may want to put tape over the zipper to keep water out, however it looks like it would not allow very much moisture to penetrate the zipper area. The rest of the bag however in my opinion seems to be water proof.Note - for me I got two bags, one for the mattress and one for the box spring. However, If I didn't have two bags I likely could have fit both the mattress and the box spring in the same bag. I have a regular non-pillowtop mattress, a pillow top mattress may not allow room for box spring, but its worth a shot. However, moving it gets heavy with mattress and box spring. The way this bag is put together seems to be pretty good. I was tugging and pushing and pulling the mattress (dense heavy mattress) up the attic stairs and it held up great. :)This cover fits my daughter's twin mattress perfectly. It feels waterproof and is durable, so I do not expect it to rip.We recently moved and wanted to move our mattresses safely. So we ordered some mattress bags including this one. The mattress bag is twin sized and made of tarp material. The mattress was able to be moved to our new home safely without damage to the mattress.
