I made apple crisp, it was delicious!! You need to cook for an Hr not 20 minutes.Good flavor and easy to useWe have been using this product for a long time but the store that carried it stopped offering it so I went online to buy it. It was shown in individual boxes in the picture but arrived wrapped in plastic making it more difficult to store. Its the same product but I prefer individual packaging. It was also about 40% higher in price than what I had previously paid for it locally. This is by far the best cobbler mix on the market and it's incredibly easy to prepare. Pour one or two cans of apple pie, peach, blueberry or cherry pie filling into your bakeware. Melt 5 ounces of butter in a coffee cup in the microwave. Pour butter into ready made mix. Stir until crumbly. Scatter over the pie filling. Bake. Let stand to cool for five minutes. Spoon out into cereal bowl, add a scoop of ice cream and voila. You're on your way to the couch to enjoy the next Blue Bloods episode.Easy to use. Walmart does not carry any more. Couldn’t find it till I found it here at Amazon. Thank youI love the apple crisp prepared the usual way but here's my cheater's version, created in a snap. It was just one of those days. I needed every second.I took an unbaked graham cracker crust (but I'm betting you could use ground up graham crackers or gingersnaps instead) plus a 21 ounce can of Wilderness Limited edition Caramel Apple Pie Filling. You can find other brands and I've used regular canned apple pie filling before. But I simply prefer the caramel apple one from Wilderness.I poured the pie filling in the crust, topped it with some of the dry apple crisp mix and spread a few tablespoons of butter slices over the top. Then I dusted it with cinnamon. Baked at 375 till bubbly ( covered with foil if it browns too much) stirred, and my family loved it. If not brown enough, quickly put under broiler but watch carefully as it browns quickly this way.Great warm or at room temperature, with or without ice cream in the side.Easy!Very easy!Loved how all you need to do is add butter, a few fresh apples and bake. Done. I always add a little extra plain dried oats to this mix so you can really see/taste it when it's all done baking. Wish it just had a little less sugar as some family members are diabetic. But it's delicious and easy to use. Convenient for quick desserts any time of the year, but esp during fall/winter baking season
