I had my first purchase from a store and found it works well in indian style food or simply air fried chicken with the this blend of spices. I cannot find this in stores here nearby my new home, then I found it on Amazon but the price is much more expensive though I have still bought two boxes which will be good enough for a long time.Good . Same as I been using for many yearsThis can be used in. Variety of ways and never disappointed.Guests can’t figure out what has been used and I lie that. This Garam Masala has a wonderful aroma and tastes very nice as well. I would have given this 5 stars except that it comes in a cardboard Box instead of some kind of little spice bottle which is a bit inconvenient, because I had to scare up a fitting bottle for it right away. However the aroma and taste are just great.Thank you..I couldn’t find this in my local grocery story so this was super convenient. For some reason I expected the box to be bigger, but the flavor is really good so no complaints. The box was pretty damaged with an expiration date soon approaching but the dishes I’ve made using this blend were worth it.My favorite Indian restaurant's owner recommended these spice mixes and boy did she do me a favor! I brown eight boneless chicken thighs, then toss in a big can of diced tomatoes, the can's worth of chick broth if I have it or water if not, and a bunch of chopped onion, garlic and bell peppers. Sprinkle about two tablespoons of this spice mix over all and stir to combine. Put a lid on your skillet and turn the heat to medium, stirring occasionally. Cook about 30 minutes (long enough for rice to cook and a salad to be made. Right before serving the chicken stir in a tablespoon of butter. This makes a big difference in the finished sauce. A fabulous dinner fit for company in less time than a pizza can be delivered. You'll think a Mumbai grandmother was cooking in your kitchen all day. Spicy and fabulous!I can't find Garam Masala locally so I turned to Amazon. After reading reviews of various Garam Masala spice blends I saw frequent complaints of spices being stale or too strong in one flavor (e.g. Cumin). Given the postive reviews and reasonable size/price (I don't need a pound of Garam Masala) I decided to give MDH a try. I was pleased when received that it was wrapped in plastic and had a best if used by date on the package. Upon opening the spices were fragrant and when used to make Butter Chicken in my Instant Pot I was extremely pleased with the results. Will definitely be buying this again. If you want to make authentic tikka masala, this is the spice to use. When comparing ingredients with other brands there is no comparison.
