These cannoli shells are exactly like the ones I used to buy when we lived just outside of NYC. They were delicious!!! I took off one star because the product packaging left a lot to be desired. Not Amazon’s, but Ferrari’s. A few of the shells arrived broken; we used them for dip so not a total loss. However, a cheap cellophane sheet across the top would have prevented breakage and kept the shells fresher. We used them up quickly so freshness wasn’t a problem for us, lol. However, they’re not something you could keep for a while.I was very pleased with this purchase. The boxes of cannoli shells were wrapped in bubble wrap, packed in a box, and then that box was inserted into another very sturdy box. Not one of the cannoli shells were broken.The shells themselves were the perfect size and thickness, unlike some others I purchased that were way too thick.The shells are to hard. Decided to make them myself.I’m from NYC and I’m currently in SoCal, where it’s rather hard to find a cannoli. I had the most difficult time trying to find shells and I decided to just risk it and buy these on amazon. I wish I had waited because the next day I found a hidden deli around here that sold the exact same shells for $3 a box...These are extremely overpriced, but if you’re in a pinch and really needed some shells I guess it is what it is.All of my shells arrived in tact, which I was surprised about. The texture is spot on but the taste was a little bland. A good cream filling and some powdered sugar fixed that up though and these were a hit at a work party and a thanksgiving dinner.The cannolis were good but I was disappointed when I opened each box to find 2-3 cannolis in EACH box were completely broken. If it was only 1 box I can understand but every box basically making 9 cannolis totally unusable.Not as crunchy and fresh tasting as another brand. I blame the packaging as I could smell the shells without opening.Very disappointed. Brought to a party and was embarrassed by the staleness and mushy texture.I made these for a bridal shower. I did not have one broken shell! I did have a problem with getting my correct number of boxes, however, the customer service was great. They shipped the additional boxes immediately. I used the filling recipe on the back of the box and it turned out great. Will definitely be ordering these again.They were great. Very tasty! And not one was broken. I only needed one box for my family dinner party, but I was curious about the other two boxes. I opened them and all the shells were in perfect condition. Kudos to the company that makes them, and kudos to Amazon for packing them nicely. Will definitely order again.
