I bought these and set of 12 with half the material weight. I believe these will give protection needed. These seem to be the best balance of product and price (i.e. value)If you compare these blankets to what you find at Hone Depot, U-Haul etc…those others are double or triple the price. Does that mean they’re twice or three times better than these on Amazon? He’ll no, these do the job really well if you’re a consumer who’s going through a few moves or putting things into storage. Yes, there are more expensive ones that are thicker, but these will work perfectly well unless you’ve done a poor job securing the load.If you’re a professional mover, you obviously care more about longevity and would like fork up the money for the expensive ones. But for the price, these ones are hard to beat for us regular folks.These blankets did their job perfectly when preparing for our upcoming move. The size is ample and neither too bulky nor too thin. They adequately protect surfaces, especially in combination with other products like stretch wrap to hold them in place. The price was better than buying blankets at local moving companies, they were of at least equal quality, and delivery was quick.Something important yo remember when buying or rating moving blankets is that the quality of how you wrap your items is just as important, if not more so, than the quality of the wrapping material itself. I am more than satisfied with these blankets and highly recommend them.I love how large and thick these moving blankets are.They are thicker than others should work fine.Large size helps protect belongingsVery substantial and a great size!I purchased these for sound proofing. They came in a standard box with no protective wrapping, emitting an unpleasant smell that wouldn’t go away no matter how much essential oils and Febreeze I used. I eventually hand- washed each blanket, and as you can see from the photos the water turned black from the residue in the blankets. They also aren’t as thick as I would have hoped for- and I purchased the 65lb Heavy Duty 6-pack. Based on my experience so far, I’m giving 3 stars- the smell, the packaging, and the chemicals covering the blankets were just too much. I’ll update this review as I use them for noise dampening.
