This is a gorgeous, gorgeous book. I'm new to altered art and never even took art in high school, so many if not most of the projects are waaaayyyy above my skill level. For me it's more of an idea book than a how-to book. I look through it just to get the creative juices flowing when I'm feeling stuck or bored with my current projects. I also like the short history of the genre and the galleries. I do wish there were a little less on books and a little more on boxes/tins and jewelry, but I'm definitely glad I bought it.
